Hook =  #8 Temco (any brand will do just make
sure it is designed for streamers)

Hackle = Black
Thread = Black 

Body = Black and brown (tan or coffee) but must be
black and tannish brown chenille. I've tried other color
combos with minimal success---black and tan is the key.

Tail = Black marabou

Steps-
1. Tie tail on first
2. Then the hackle---small hackle end to hook so that as you wrap from tail to head the hackle length gets bigger.
3. Next the chenille
4. Wrap the chenille from tail to head (basic bugger style)
5. Finish off with wrapping the hackle.
6. Don't forget the head cement!
